Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher&#8217;s husband also took to Twitter to confirm the news.<\/p>\n<p>Putting an end to all the rumours circulating on the web, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anupam_Kher\">Anupam Kher<\/a><\/span> shared a note on Twitter confirming that Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The statement that was released on behalf of his son Sikander and him reads, &#8220;Just so that the rumours don&#8217;t get the better of a situation Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that <strong>Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. <strong>We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She&#8217;s always been a fighter and takes things head-on<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She&#8217;s all heart and that&#8217;s why she has so many people that love her. So keep sending your love to her in your prayers and in your heart. <strong>She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love. Speaking at a press conference, Arun Sood had said, \u201cShe had suffered a broken left arm at her Chandigarh house on November 11 last year. <strong>After her medical tests at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.<\/strong> The disease had spread to her left arm and right shoulder. <strong>For treatment, she had to go to Mumbai<\/strong> on December 4.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Also Read<\/span>:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/meghalaya-has-second-highest-the-cancer-incidence-rate-in-the-country-health-minister\/\">Meghalaya has second-highest the cancer incidence rate in the country: Health Minister<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Arun Sood also said that Kirron is currently recovering and though she isn&#8217;t admitted to Mumbai&#8217;s Kokilaben Hospital anymore, she does have to visit the hospital for regular treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Even though she is recovering after her four-month treatment and no longer admitted at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai, she has to visit the hospital regularly for treatment<\/strong>,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kirron Kher, an actress and veteran actor Anupam Kher&#8217;s wife, joined politics in 2014 when she joined the BJP.
