{"id":10649,"date":"2021-04-19T19:46:32","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T14:16:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nerising.in\/?p=10649"},"modified":"2021-04-19T20:46:51","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T15:16:51","slug":"manipur-govt-postpones-class-10th-12th-board-exams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/manipur-govt-postpones-class-10th-12th-board-exams\/","title":{"rendered":"Manipur govt postpones class 10th, 12th board exams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Manipur, April 19:<\/strong> In view of the rising number of Covid-19 cases, the Manipur government has decided to postpone the Class 10 and Class 12, board exams.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/manipur-govt-imposes-night-curfew\/\">government<\/a><\/span> has also decided to suspend the classes from IX to XII standards in the schools of the state in view of the second wave of the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>School classes of IX to XII suspended and HSLC Examination-2021 and Higher Secondary Examination-2021, being conducted by BoSEM and CoHSEM respectively are postponed in view of the 2nd wave of #COVID19 pandemic and ever-increasing numbers of COVID-19 positive cases in the State<\/strong>,\u201d Manipur chief minister said in a tweet on Monday.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">School classes of IX to XII suspended and HSLC Examination-2021 and Higher Secondary Examination-2021, being conducted by BoSEM and CoHSEM respectively are postponed in view of the 2nd wave of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a> pendamic and ever increasing numbers of COVID-19 positive cases in the State. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/D30ETfK8py\">pic.twitter.com\/D30ETfK8py<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; N.Biren Singh (@NBirenSingh) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBirenSingh\/status\/1384126342875156485?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 19, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As a precautionary measure, the government has also ordered the closure of the coaching centres, tutorial homes, boarding schools, government schools as well as private hostels.<\/p>\n<p>T Ranjit Singh, Commissioner (Education) of the Manipur government, further said that no physical classes will be held for those students of Class VIII and below.
