June 26:<\/strong> The ‘Real Life Tarzan<\/strong>‘, a man who lived in complete isolation in the forests of Vietnam with his father and brother for 41 years had no idea that women exist. He is being dubbed ‘Real Life Tarzan<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

Ho Van Lang fled civilisation at the end of the Vietnam War in 1972 when a US bomb killed his mother and two siblings. Lang settled deep in the jungle in the Tay Tra district of Quang Ngai province.<\/p>\n

In the four decades, they only saw five other people – and ran away from them each time.<\/p>\n

The trio lived entirely off the wilderness, eating honey, fruit and forest creatures, building shelters and fending for themselves.<\/p>\n

\"Meet<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2015, Alvaro Cerezo, a photographer tracked the family. They were “rescued<\/strong>” from their isolated life and taken to a local village where women live.<\/p>\n

According to local media, Lang’s father had a “profound phobia of returning [to civilisation] as he did not believe that the Vietnam War was over<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

He said, “They always escaped when they saw people from a distance. More surprising still is that today, despite being able to distinguish between men and women, he still doesn\u2019t know the essential difference between them<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

He added, “I can confirm that Lang has never had the minimum sexual desire and his reproductive instinct has never shown its head in any of its many facets<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Lang’s brother Tri described him as a “baby in a man’s body<\/strong>“, with very little understanding of “many basic social concepts<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Tri said, “Lang has spent his whole life in the jungle. So his brain is just like a baby. If I asked Lang to beat someone, he would do it severely. He doesn’t know the difference between good and bad. Lang is just a child<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “He doesn’t know anything. Most people know what is good or bad in life, but my brother doesn’t. If I asked Lang to stab someone with a knife, he would do it without thinking and that person could die<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

However, despite fears that Lang could kill anyone at request, Cerezo said that he was “happily adapting to his new life<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

He said, “Lang was probably the most adorable human I have ever met in my life, he just doesn’t know what is good or bad<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

He added, “The first year was the most difficult for Lang because of health problems from a virus and bacteria new to his system<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
