{"id":13399,"date":"2021-07-06T17:59:42","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T12:29:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nerising.in\/?p=13399"},"modified":"2021-07-06T18:32:24","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T13:02:24","slug":"sophisticated-weapons-stores-recovered-from-near-india-myanmar-border-in-manipur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/sophisticated-weapons-stores-recovered-from-near-india-myanmar-border-in-manipur\/","title":{"rendered":"Sophisticated weapons stores recovered from near India-Myanmar border in Manipur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Manipur, July 6:<\/strong> Troopers of the Assam Rifles have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition and other \u2018<strong>warlike<\/strong>\u2019 stores, including sophisticated and highly modernized weapons from near the India-Myanmar border in Manipur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two Smith and Wesson M&amp;P AR 15\/22 with four magazines, one AK 47 rifle with two magazines and 210 rounds, an M-16 rifle with a magazine, two grenades, a 9mm pistol with 10 rounds and eight detonators were recovered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recovery was made at the Kamjong district in Manipur along the India-Myanmar border by troopers of the Chassad Battalion stationed at the Kamjong district in <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/manipur-insurgent-group-announces-cash-rewards-to-fully-vaccinated-villages\/\">Manipur<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the recovered weapons have been handed over to the Kamjong Police Station Manipur for further investigation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is yet to be ascertained as to which militant outfit this cache of arms and ammunition belonged.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, smugglers \u2013 be it arms or be it drugs \u2013 have been using the India-Myanmar border in Manipur as a transit route.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manipur, July 6: Troopers of the Assam Rifles have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition and other \u2018warlike\u2019 stores, including sophisticated and highly modernized weapons from near the India-Myanmar border in Manipur.
