{"id":14024,"date":"2021-07-21T17:44:48","date_gmt":"2021-07-21T12:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nerising.in\/?p=14024"},"modified":"2021-07-21T17:54:50","modified_gmt":"2021-07-21T12:24:50","slug":"caa-nrc-is-not-against-muslim-citizens-of-india-rss-chief-mohan-bhagwat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/caa-nrc-is-not-against-muslim-citizens-of-india-rss-chief-mohan-bhagwat\/","title":{"rendered":"CAA-NRC is not against Muslim citizens of India: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Guwahati, July 21:<\/strong> RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said that CAA-NRC has nothing to do with Muslim citizens of India.<\/p>\n<p>Launching a book \u2018<strong>Citizenship DEBATE over NRC &amp; CAA Assam &amp; the Politics of History<\/strong>\u2019 written by Nani Gopal Mahanta in Guwahati, Mohan Bhagwat said that, the citizens of India have not needed to worry over <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Citizenship_(Amendment)_Act,_2019\">CAA<\/a><\/span> and NRC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>CAA-NRC is not a law made against any Indian citizen. Muslim citizens of India will not be harmed by CAA. Some people have made it a Hindu-Muslim issue to take political benefits. For political gains, both subjects (CAA-NRC) have been made the subject of Hindu-Muslim, it is not the subject of Hindu-Muslim<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He further said that, after the partition of India, it was given promises that each country will care for the minority people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>We are following it till today, but Pakistan did not. All the people fought against the British with the dream that there would be an independent country. No people\u2019s consensus was taken at the time of partition of the country. If people\u2019s consensus was taken at that time, the country would not have been partitioned. But the leaders took the decision and the public accepted it. People who had to be evicted after the country partition decision, even today these people are getting evicted. What is their fault, who will worry, think about them? It\u2019s our moral duty to help those people<\/strong>,\u201d Mohan Bhagwat said.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that \u2013 \u201c<strong>We don\u2019t have any problems with any religion, language or creed. The problem starts when someone with the intent of domination tries to impose uniformity. In the politics of the country, it will be considered only according to the political mileage or some people will bring this in the communal line.<strong> They make this a Hindu-Muslim issue, but this is not a Hindu-Muslim issue.<\/strong> But we have to see all these things and the people of the country have decided that the politics of the country should be going in the right direction. An ecosystem was created to ensure that no data came in front of us,\u201d Mohan Bhagwat said.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that the problem arises when someone wants duties enshrined in the Constitution but not to follow the duties.<\/p>\n<p>Mohan Bhagwat said that \u2013 \u201cWe do not have to learn from the world about secularism, socialism, democracy, this is our tradition. <strong>Our vision is of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We don\u2019t have any problems with any region, language, creed<\/strong>.
