{"id":14096,"date":"2021-07-23T10:03:30","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T04:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nerising.in\/?p=14096"},"modified":"2021-07-23T10:03:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T04:33:30","slug":"assam-govt-issues-gazette-notification-for-online-sale-home-delivery-of-liquor-in-guwahati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/assam-govt-issues-gazette-notification-for-online-sale-home-delivery-of-liquor-in-guwahati\/","title":{"rendered":"Assam Govt issues gazette notification for online sale, home delivery of liquor in Guwahati"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Guwahati, July 23: <\/strong>The Assam Government has issued a gazette notification officially approving the online sales and home delivery of liquor in Guwahati.<\/p>\n<p>A number of guidelines have been mentioned in the notification for online sale, purchase, and home delivery of liquor in Guwahati.<\/p>\n<p>Online sale, purchase, and delivery of liquor can be done through an App <strong>\u201cdeveloped for this purpose\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c\u2026eligible retailers may register themselves on the App developed for this purpose,\u201d<\/strong> read the gazette notification.<\/p>\n<p>Customers, who are <strong>\u2018eligible\u2019<\/strong> can purchase up to three litres of liquor at a time. However, a delivery agent can carry a maximum of nine litres of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alcohol\">alcohol<\/a> <\/span><\/span>at once.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe order shall be executed against prepayment only,\u201d<\/strong> read the notification.<strong> \u201cHome delivery shall be done between 11:00 AM to 10 PM subject to compliance with lockdown order\/restriction issued by competent authorities in this regard from time to time,\u201d<\/strong> said the notification.<\/p>\n<p>All orders placed online, in normal circumstances, would be completed within two hours of placing the order.<\/p>\n<p>Both consumer and delivery person has to be above 21 years to avail the benefits of this service, for which necessary documents need to be uploaded in the App to prove eligibility.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Also Read:<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/woman-forced-to-drink-acid-by-husband-dcw-seeks-strict-action-against-culprits\/\"><strong>Woman forced to drink acid by husband, DCW seeks strict action against culprits<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<p>For deliveries within 1 km, the charges will be Rs 50.
