Usually tourists\u2019 go to Shimla and Darjeeling for snowfall but, what if we tell you that there are a range of places aside from these as well?<\/p>\n

With travellers from across the world venturing out of their countries to escape the pandemic blues, it\u2019s time to start planning our winter vacations. Now that India has opened its borders up to international flyers, we\u2019ve taken it upon ourselves to remind you of the best places to visit to truly experience the Indian winter.<\/p>\n

Katao, Sikkim:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

This hill station is known to have the scenic beauty of Switzerland. A rather short pinch in the pocket, Katao is perfect for mountain lovers.<\/p>\n

\"tawang<\/p>\n

Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

In case you are looking to satiate your mountain love with natural beauty and also have a trip to your spiritual side, Tawang is the perfect place for you. With snow, nature, and a 400-years old Buddha temple, Tawang is the apt place to spend your vacation.<\/p>\n

Sonmarg, Jammu and Kashmir:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Roop Kund is a glacial lake of Uttarakhand. Also known as the mystery lake, Roop Kund is uninhabited and situated at an altitude of 5,020 m. It is surrounded by the skeletons of human beings – it is believed to be of the group of expeditioners who lost their lives in a landslide in the 90s.<\/p>\n
