{"id":15449,"date":"2021-11-30T18:49:21","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T13:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/?p=15449"},"modified":"2021-11-30T20:44:43","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T15:14:43","slug":"himanta-biswa-sarma-hands-over-appointment-letter-to-723-teachers-employees-of-colleges-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/himanta-biswa-sarma-hands-over-appointment-letter-to-723-teachers-employees-of-colleges-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Himanta Biswa Sarma hands over appointment letter to 723 teachers, employees of colleges, schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Guwahati, Nov 30:<\/strong> Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday handed over appointment letters to 130 Assistant Professors of colleges, 16 Grade III employees in colleges, 17 compassionate appointees, 560 teachers in 88 provincialized HS schools at a programme held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati organized by Secondary and Higher Education departments.<\/p>\n<p>Saying that the <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/assam.gov.in\/\">state government<\/a><\/span> is striving to make higher and secondary education in the state holistic and contemporary through transparent teacher recruitment, Dr Sarma asserted that future generations cannot be burdened with inefficient teachers who will hamper the development of able citizens for the country.<\/p>\n<p>He said that teachers have a very important role to play in setting good examples in society and therefore they should not object to attendance monitoring of teachers through RIIMS App in schools as a discipline is a must in society.<\/p>\n<p>Informing that State Government is taking steps to set up more schools, colleges and universities, the Chief Minister said that Higher Secondary classes are being separated from colleges as per NEP 2020 while taking steps to ensure an adequate number of science teachers in the schools.
