Assam\u2019s first <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mohfw.gov.in\/\">COVID-19<\/a><\/span> patient and another patient were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The patients were discharged from Silchar Medical College Hospital and Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital in Guwahati.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assam\u2019s <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/northeast-india-covid-19-cases\/\">first COVID-19 positive patient<\/a><\/span> named 52-year-old Jalaluddin \u2013 a resident of Karimganj district was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 31 and he was shifted to Silchar Medical College Hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After fighting for more than a month, the 52-year-old patient has tested negative and he was discharged from hospital on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, another COVID-19 patient was discharged from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury hospital on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So far, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/three-more-covid-19-patients-discharged-in-assam\/\">34 COVID-19 patients<\/a><\/span> were discharged from different hospitals of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted \u2013 \u201cGlad to share that two more #COVID19 patients, Jalaluddin (1st patient) &amp; Motiur Tarapdar, have been discharged from SMCH &amp; MMCH respectively, after three consecutive negative tests.
