However, as yet the authorities have not agreed to either not build the fence or build it on the zero line itself.<\/p>\n<p>Dabling Khongsdir, the matriarch of Lyngkhong and one of the landowners said that \u201c<strong>It is not fair that our village will fall outside the territory of India once the fence is built. We do not feel safe.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>We have lived since time immemorial &#8230; The government should do something for our safety and well-being<\/strong>,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Dabling has reasons to feel insecure.
