{"id":16598,"date":"2022-01-18T15:54:39","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T10:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/?p=16598"},"modified":"2022-01-18T15:54:39","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T10:24:39","slug":"arunachal-cm-stresses-on-maximum-coverage-under-central-insurance-schemes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/arunachal-cm-stresses-on-maximum-coverage-under-central-insurance-schemes\/","title":{"rendered":"Arunachal CM stresses on maximum coverage under central insurance schemes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Itanagar, Jan 18:\u00a0<\/strong>Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasized maximum coverage of beneficiaries under the insurance schemes launched by the central government.<\/p>\n<p>Three insurances schemes are \u2013 the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, and the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana or the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.<\/p>\n<p>Chairing an e-Pragati meeting with all deputy commissioners, Khandu said on virtual meeting that,<strong> \u201cThe common masses, especially in rural areas, are not aware of the schemes and benefits each provides,\u201d<\/strong> and also asked the DCs to take advantage of Sarkar Aapke Dwar camps to create awareness on these schemes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFor the rural poor, these insurance schemes will be much beneficial as these can be availed free or at a very low premium. We need to take these schemes to villages and enroll as many beneficiaries as possible,\u201d<\/strong> Khandu said.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed enrolling as many beneficiaries as possible under the state government flagship scheme, the Chief Minister\u2019s Arogya <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/namsai.nic.in\/document\/circular-online-enrolment-for-chief-minister-arogya-arunachal-yojana-cmaay\/\">Arunachal Yojana<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cReaching out to the needy is your responsibility. Take regular review meetings on all such welfare schemes with concerned departments and reach the saturation point as soon as possible,\u201d<\/strong> he told the DCs.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the target of 28 February for the implementation of shortlisted schemes, Khandu said he would review the status of each scheme, district-wise, in the next e-Pragati meeting, to be held after the Statehood Day.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the current status of the Covid pandemic against the Omicron variant, the CM directed the DCs to <strong>\u201cact independently as per the emerging situation\u201d<\/strong> in their respective districts. He also urged all of them to refer to the SOPs circulated by the state disaster management authority and the health department, and also the guidelines were drawn by the ICMR, in dealing with any emerging situation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Also Read:<\/span> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/arunachal-cm-pema-khandu-inaugurates-31-new-projects\/\"><strong>Arunachal CM Pema Khandu inaugurates 31 new projects<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Stating that, though the new Covid variant is extremely transmissible, it is not yet life-threatening, Khandu, however, emphasized that vaccination is the only way forward.<\/p>\n<p>He directed the DCs to constantly monitor the vaccination drives and inoculate all eligible persons as per the recent order of the central government.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt has been proved that vaccination is the only reason that this Omicron is not life-threatening. Therefore it should be our endeavor to vaccinate all our eligible citizens, including those in the age group of 15 to 18 years,\u201d<\/strong> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Khandu urged the DCs of the districts where the percentage of vaccination is still low to <strong>\u201ctake regular reviews and ascertain the causes for the low percentage and work on it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CM reviewed the status of several schemes and projects, including DBT, especially in the SJETA and education departments, besides the Atal Pension Yojana, the Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, <strong>\u2018one nation, one ration\u2019,<\/strong> Aadhaar seeding count, identification of obsolete laws, rules and regulations, the National Education Policy, the NIPUN Bharat Mission, education in mother tongues, draft state curriculum framework, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Itanagar, Jan 18:\u00a0Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasized maximum coverage of beneficiaries under the insurance schemes launched by the central government.
