The three-judge bench led by the Chief Justice issued the orders on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"LC20lb MBeuO DKV0Md\">The bench also ruled that restriction on the wearing of uniforms is a reasonable restriction and that the students cannot object to the same. All the petitions regarding this have also been dismissed by the Karnataka HC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"LC20lb MBeuO DKV0Md\">Taking a holistic view of the entire matter of Hijab, the Karnataka <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Karnataka_High_Court\">High Court<\/a><\/span> came up with three questions and answered them accordingly:<\/p>\n<p class=\"LC20lb MBeuO DKV0Md\"><strong>Q.1<\/strong> Whether wearing hijab is part of essential religious practice under Islam?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ans:<\/strong> Wearing Hijab does not form part of essential religious practice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q.2<\/strong> Whether prescription of school uniform is legally permissible, keeping in mind the fundamental rights of the petitioners?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ans:<\/strong> The restriction on wearing of uniform is a reasonable restriction that the students cannot object to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q.3<\/strong> Whether the Govt order dated Feb 5 was done without application of mind and is arbitrary?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ans:<\/strong> No case is made for the invalidation of the Govt order dated February 5.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Also Read<\/span>:<\/span> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/arunachal-govt-tables-deficit-budget-for-fy23-in-assembly-proposes-no-new-tax\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Arunachal govt tables deficit budget for FY23 in assembly, proposes no new tax<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Karnataka HC ruled that the wearing of hijabs did not fall under the essential religious practice of Islam and all the related petitions were dismissed based on these answers.<\/p>\n<p>Karnataka minister Sudhakar K welcomes high court order.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hijab is not an essential practice of Islam and can&#39;t be allowed in schools and colleges, rules Karnataka High Court.
