Guwahati, May 01: <\/strong>Joining the refrain calling for the imposition of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the advent of the rules is important to present justice to all Muslim women.<\/p>\n

While talking to the media in the course of his go-to New Delhi, Sarma stated, “Everybody needs UCC. No Muslim lady needs her husband to convey domestic three different wives. Ask any Muslim lady. UCC isn’t always my trouble, it’s miles trouble for all Muslim women. If they may be to accept justice, after the scrapping of Triple Talaq, UCC will need to be brought”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister stated that the indigenous Muslims need now no longer be blended with migrant Muslims in Assam.<\/p>\n
