{"id":1812,"date":"2020-05-18T19:19:14","date_gmt":"2020-05-18T13:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nerising.in\/?p=1812"},"modified":"2020-05-18T19:19:14","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T13:49:14","slug":"assam-registers-third-covid-19-death-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/assam-registers-third-covid-19-death-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Assam registers third COVID-19 death case"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assam registers third COVID-19 death case, two more positive cases detect, state tally reaches 104<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guwahati, May 18: Assam registers their third COVID-19 death case in the state on Monday, and two more positive cases for the virus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the new cases the state tally has now surged to 104.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that, a 71-year-old cancer patient returned from Mumbai who was also infected by COVID-19 died at <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/doctor-tested-covid19-positive-in-assam\/\">Guwahati Medical College Hospital<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt is the third death case registered in the state due to COVID-19. On the other hand, two persons from Golaghat district have been tested positive for COVID-19,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier, two <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/assam-touches-100-covid-19-positive-cases\/\">positive cases for COVID-19<\/a><\/span> were detected in Jorhat and Nagaon district on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Sunday, the state had registered nine COVID-19 positive cases including a<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/assam-registers-its-youngest-covid-19-positive-case\/\"> 9-year-old boy.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted \u2013 \u201cTwo persons have tested #COVID19 + in Golaghat.
