{"id":19094,"date":"2022-07-05T14:44:01","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T09:14:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/?p=19094"},"modified":"2022-07-05T14:44:01","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T09:14:01","slug":"meghalaya-police-summon-youtuber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/test\/meghalaya-police-summon-youtuber\/","title":{"rendered":"Meghalaya police summon Youtuber"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shillong, July 05:\u00a0<\/strong>A YouTube was summoned by Meghalaya Police on Tuesday for allegedly disseminating <strong>\u2018news-like\u201d<\/strong> sensitive information using his social media platforms and was tutored on how to disseminate information of public interest responsibly.<\/p>\n<p>He was also asked to abstain from using images and other sensitive information to push his viewership without verification from the concerned authorities, a senior police officer said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cOne individual who has been disseminating information in the form of news through YouTube without following due and proper procedure as per norms to function as a media outlet was summoned yesterday,\u201d<\/strong> additional superintendent of police of <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/eastkhasihills.gov.in\/\">East Khasi Hills<\/a><\/span>, Vivek Syiem told media.<\/p>\n<h6>He said the individual was educated on the nuances of engaging oneself in the information disseminating field, especially with regards to proper procedure of getting officially acknowledged by relevant authorities, following certain protocols and procedures, and maintaining a strict code of ethics.<\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Also Read<\/span>: <\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/shocked-cattle-bred-on-the-rooftop-made-to-hang-in-a-crane-for-eid-in-pakistan\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Shocked!
