Videos of the incident shared on social media showed the woman\u2019s attendant complaining that the hospital did not admit her despite her being an <strong>\u201cemergency\u201d<\/strong> case.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, five doctors of the Central government-run hospital have been debarred from duty till a high-level probe into the matter is completed.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 320px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('video');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-19471-1\" width=\"320\" height=\"564\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/WhatsApp-Video-2022-07-20-at-7.36.22-AM.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/WhatsApp-Video-2022-07-20-at-7.36.22-AM.mp4\">https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/WhatsApp-Video-2022-07-20-at-7.36.22-AM.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>The action has been taken under the direction of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya following an inspection by a fact-finding team sent to the hospital. The woman and the newborn are currently in the care of Safdarjung Hospital, read a statement issued by the Union Health Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Safdarjung Hospital said that its doctors had examined the woman and offered admission but then she did not return with the admission paper. The police have not yet received any official complaint on the matter.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Also Read<\/span>: <\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/deadly-love-girlfriends-father-brutally-cut-off-the-ear-of-the-lover\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Deadly love: Girlfriend\u2019s father brutally cut off the ear of the lover<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Both the woman and the baby are stable, said the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>In the videos, doing the rounds on social media, the woman&#8217;s relatives are heard alleging that the hospital did not admit her on Monday and she spent the night outside the emergency ward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThis morning, they were telling me to make an OPD receipt and then the doctor will see her. This is an emergency case, why else will we be waiting outside their door?\u201d<\/strong> the attendant was heard saying in the video.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women has issued a notice to <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Safdar_Jang\">Safdarjung<\/a> <\/span>Hospital on the issue.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital in a statement said they have a <strong>\u201cno refusal policy\u201d<\/strong>.<strong> \u201cShe was examined by the SR [the senior resident doctor] on duty at 5:45 p.m. on July 18 and her condition was found to be 33+6 weeks gestation with preeclampsia in early labour. The patient was offered admission but she did not return with the admission paper,\u201d<\/strong> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe next day the Senior Resident on morning GRR [Gynae Receiving Room] duty was informed that a patient was delivering outside.
