Weather Update, March 29: <\/strong>According to recent weather updates, parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and West Bengal are likely to experience scattered to fairly widespread rains and thunderstorms from March 31 to April 2. Residents of Northeast India should be prepared for thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds over the next few days.<\/p>\n

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD<\/a><\/span>) has also forecasted isolated heavy rainfall over West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha on March 31.<\/p>\n

Moreover, isolated hailstorms are expected to hit Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim on the same day.<\/p>\n

It is important to stay informed about the weather conditions and take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period. Heavy rains, thunderstorms, and lightning can result in landslides, flooding, and damage to infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Residents should stay indoors during thunderstorms and avoid going near water bodies, trees, or high-rise buildings during heavy rains or lightning. Drivers should also exercise caution on roads that may be slippery due to rainfall.<\/p>\n

In addition to the thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, the weather forecast suggests that Northeast India may experience another spell of enhanced rainfall activity from March 31. Isolated heavy rains may lash Arunachal Pradesh from March 31 to April 2, while East Assam is likely to be affected on March 31 and April 1.<\/p>\n

While the Northeastern states brace for the thunderstorms, the temperature in other parts of the country is also expected to change. Northwest India is expected to experience a gradual 2-4 \u2070C rise in daytime temperatures over the next 24 hours, followed by a 3-5 \u2070C fall during the subsequent three days.<\/p>\n

Residents and travelers in these areas need to stay informed and take necessary precautions to stay safe.
