Shillong, May 22:\u00a0<\/strong>The Shillong Lajong FC has made a remarkable comeback by securing promotion to the 2023-24 I-League. After a four-year absence, the Meghalaya-based team emerged victorious in the final round with a 2-1 win against FC Bengaluru United.<\/p>\n

This victory gave them a total of seven points from four games. Shillong Lajong FC had previously faced relegation in the 2018-19 season when they finished at the bottom of the table.<\/p>\n
