Itanagar, Aug 26:\u00a0<\/strong>Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has made significant strides in improving the state’s healthcare and justice systems. In a series of cabinet decisions, the government has created 1,588 new positions in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, aiming to bolster the state’s healthcare infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS<\/a><\/span>) will increase its MBBS seats from 50 to 110 starting next year. This expansion is set to address the shortage of medical seats and healthcare personnel.<\/p>\n

TRIHMS, as Arunachal Pradesh’s first state-run medical college, plays a pivotal role in medical education and healthcare delivery in the region.<\/p>\n

Another crucial development involves the establishment of a district and sessions court in Seppa. This move aims to ensure the efficient and speedy dispensation of justice, promoting legal access and fairness within the state.<\/p>\n
