Gangtok, Sept 14: <\/strong>Sikkim Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang, recently held discussions with a Korean delegation visiting the state to explore the potential for environmentally friendly collaborations between the two nations.<\/p>\n

The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Mintokgang, with the presence of the Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation, B.S. Panth.<\/p>\n

During the interaction, Chief Minister Tamang highlighted the various policies implemented by the government to promote environmental conservation and protection. He also commended the Korean delegation’s commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, especially in the current climate scenario.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister extended his support to the delegation, emphasizing the dual importance of such initiatives \u2013 environmental preservation and local employment generation. He expressed the government’s willingness to conduct a comprehensive study on the feasibility and advantages of green hydrogen fuel and to proceed accordingly.<\/p>\n
