Weather Update, Sept 24:\u00a0<\/strong>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather update forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in multiple regions across India. Today, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Northeast India are expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.<\/p>\n

Additionally, heavy rainfall is anticipated in Madhya Pradesh, the Vidarbha region, and Chhattisgarh. Notably, Kodawanpur in Bihar’s Begusarai District recorded a staggering 32 centimeters of rainfall yesterday.<\/p>\n

According to the IMD<\/a><\/span>, conditions are becoming favorable for the withdrawal of the South-West Monsoon from parts of West Rajasthan, and this process is expected to commence tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously, the IMD has indicated the potential formation of a Low-Pressure Area over the north Andaman Sea and the adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal later this month. This weather system is likely to move in a west-northwest direction and could gradually intensify.<\/p>\n

The ongoing heavy rainfall in these regions has raised concerns about potential flooding, landslides, and other weather-related issues.
