The Central Bureau of Investigation (<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/cbi.gov.in\/\">CBI<\/a><\/span>) had already initiated an investigation into their disappearance on August 28.<\/p>\n<p>The Manipur government, responding to the disturbing development, has promised swift and resolute action. The case has been handed over to the CBI, and efforts are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.<\/p>\n<p>Disturbing images of the two students sitting in what appears to be a makeshift jungle camp of an armed group have gone viral on social media.
