Guwahati, Sept 30: <\/strong>The Assam state government has chosen to keep all government-run schools open on Gandhi Jayanti, which falls on October 2nd.<\/p>\n

This decision aims to impart the values of Mahatma Gandhi<\/a><\/span> to the younger generation. Schools under the Department of School Education will celebrate the International Day of Non-Violence on this date, organizing events to emphasize the significance of inclusive unity.<\/p>\n

All stakeholders will participate in these activities, and a “Non-Violence Pledge”<\/strong> will be administered in all schools to commemorate the occasion.<\/p>\n
