The Governor was addressing the Inauguration Session of the \u2018RTI Week 2023\u2019 at the Assembly Annexe Conference Hall in Aizawl on Thursday.<\/p>\n<h6>Encouraging the public to make good use of a software system called Mizoram <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/rtionline.gov.in\/\">RTI<\/a> <\/span>Online, Dr Kambhampati said that there are around 800 Common Service Centre and Rural Information Kiosks across the state that could facilitate the filing of RTI applications.<\/h6>\n<h6>The Governor said that in this digital age, access to information has become important and citizens have the right as well as responsibility to keep the authorities in check. However, the Governor cautioned the public to refrain from filing frivolous and malicious complaints which could strain the time and resources of the Government machinery.<\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Also Read<\/span>: <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/northeastrising.in\/imd-predicts-extensive-rainfall-in-sikkim-assam-and-meghalaya\/\"><strong>IMD Predicts Extensive Rainfall in Sikkim, Assam, and Meghalaya<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<p>RTI Week is observed between 5 to 12 October. Since its inception in 2006, the Mizoram Information Commission has received 134 Second Appeals and 157 Complaints.
