Garg was returning home from a studio when a car overtook his, with six people near the Ganeshmandir area. These people were drunk, had beer bottles in their hand and they allegedly manhandled Garg with the bottles.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">&#8220;<strong>They (the accused) used abusive language and made derogatory remarks against me. They had beer bottles in their hands. They used unparliamentary words when I tried to defend myself<\/strong>,&#8221; he said in the FIR.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">One of the main accused, Hirok Rajbongshi is purportedly on a run.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/police.assam.gov.in\/about-us\/detail\/commissionerate-of-police-guwahati\">Guwahati Police<\/a><\/span><\/span> Commissioner MP Gupta, on Thursday, informed that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and all the accused will be arrested soon.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Commenting on the incident, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, &#8220;<strong>We condemn the attack.
