Guwahati, 29th October:<\/strong> Police had arrested three persons who allegedly raped three minor girls by luring them on a pretext of showing Durga puja pandals in Assam Goalpara district.<\/p>\n

According to the reports, the incident took place at Rongjuli High School playground on the night of October 22.<\/p>\n

Police said that the three accused persons lured the victim minor girls on a pretext of showing various Durga puja pandals in the district and allegedly raped them.<\/p>\n

The accused persons had used a four-wheeled vehicle and a motorcycle and police also seized it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goalapara district Additional Superintendent of Police Amitabh Basumutary said that, the victims had lodged a complaint to Rongjuli police station Assam on October 27 evening and police had registered a case under various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO<\/a><\/span><\/span>) Act.<\/p>\n

Police had arrested two accused on Tuesday night and one on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the victims claimed that the accused persons had captured the video of the incident in their mobile phones and police have started an investigation on it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
