Now, it is up to the courts to see who are the accused<\/strong>,\u201d reported a senior <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/delhi.gov.in\/\">Delhi government<\/a><\/span><\/span> functionary.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Prosecution sanction against Khalid from both the Delhi government and the Union Home Ministry was received. He was arrested under the stringent anti-terror Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/nscn-im-asks-pm-modi-to-shift-naga-peace-talks-to-third-country\/\">UAPA<\/a><\/span><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201c<strong>We have received prosecution sanction against Umar Khalid in connection with a case registered against him under the UAPA. We have received sanctions from both the Delhi government and the Ministry of Home Affairs<\/strong>&#8220;, said the officer.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">He also reported that the prosecution sanctions were received a fortnight ago, so the Delhi Police can now name Khalid in their supplementary charge sheet.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201c<strong>To prosecute one under section 13 of the UAPA, we need sanction from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which we have already received.
