According to an ED source,<strong> \u201cwe need to verify the details of the monetary transactions that happened through all the bank accounts held in their names.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Hakim is a minister in the state government, Banerjee represents Howrah in the Lok Sabha. Mitra is a former minister.<\/p>\n<p>The notice has been sent in con\u00adnection to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Narada_sting_operation#:~:text=The%20Narada%20sting%20operation%20was,unofficial%20favors%20to%20a%20company.\">Narada<\/a><\/span><\/span> Scam. BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya attack TMC following the notice sent by ED.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHalf of TMC leaders will go to jail with the allegations of corruption,\u201d<\/strong> said Kailash Vijayvargiya.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, the ED had asked BJP national vice-president <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/nerising.in\/amit-shah-landed-in-kolkata-social-distancing-goes-for-a-toss\/\">Mukul<\/a><\/span><\/span> Roy to share the details of his bank accounts and assets owned by him and his wife. However, this notice was about the Saradha chit fund scam.<\/p>\n<p>Roy, who is now recovering from surgery, had said earlier that there was nothing to hide and he would cooperate with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Roy \u2014 former Trinamul number 2, who joined the BJP in 2017 \u2014 is one of the accused in the Narada scam. Former Calcutta mayor Sovan Chatterjee is also an accused.
