Indo-Bangla Border, Dec 16:<\/strong> The Assam police have rescued 51 cattle from the India-Bangladesh border. According to the source, the cattle were being smuggled out to Bangladesh for butchery.<\/p>\n

25 cattle<\/a><\/span><\/span> along with boats were caught in the misty Brahmaputra River by Dhubri police, 16 caught by Tamarhat police, 7 by Golakganj police, and three by Nalia police from the village roads and by-lanes.<\/p>\n

Further, in continuation with the drive against cattle smuggling, two Buffalo and two cattle have been recovered at Matkhola and Satdubi respectively under South Salmara Mancachar police.
