The Nadia leader arrived in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon and met Kailash Vijayvargiya before joining BJP.<\/p>\n<p>Suvendu Adhikari, a former TMC heavyweight and a close confidante of Mamata Banerjee, recently joined the BJP at a mega rally in Bengal and was inducted by Amit Shah, Kailash Vijayvargiya, and other BJP bosses.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Suvendu Adhikari who was Mamata&#8217;s key man behind the Nandigram movement that catapulted her to power has accepted Mamata Banerjee&#8217;s challenge to contest from the Nandigram assembly constituency for the upcoming election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kolkata, Jan 22: West Bengal minister Rajib Banerjee resigned from the Mamata Banerjee cabinet on Friday.
