Tripura, March 26:<\/strong> The North Tripura District and Session Court, on Thursday, sentenced a woman and her brother-in-law to death for their involvement in a 2016 murder case.<\/p>\n

The woman – Nazmina Begum (38), and her brother-in-law, Faizul Jalal (28) hail from Kadamtala village in North Tripura District.<\/p>\n

Nazmina Begum and Faizul Jalal were responsible for the death of Aziruddin on October 17, 2016.<\/p>\n

Nazmina is the wife and, Faizul Jalal is the younger brother of the victim.<\/p>\n

Police said that Aziruddin caught his wife having an illicit affair with his younger brother.<\/p>\n

“He also caught them in an intimate position<\/strong>,” police said.<\/p>\n

Following the conspiracy to kill Azruddin, his wife mixed sleeping pills with his food<\/a><\/span> on October 17, 2016.<\/p>\n

“Later at midnight, his wife Nazmina Begum and younger brother Faizul Jalal poured petrol and set him on fire<\/strong>,” police informed.<\/p>\n

During trials, thirteen witnesses testified in the case. North Tripura district’s Judge Gautam Sarkar pronounced them guilty and sentenced them to death.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
