Kolkata, Feb 15: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is anticipated to travel to Punjab on February 21st, where she plans to meet with her counterparts from Delhi and Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann respectively.

Additionally, she is expected to offer prayers at the revered Golden Temple in Amritsar during her visit.

The meeting between Banerjee and the top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) holds significant importance, especially in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the efforts towards forming an opposition coalition.

This engagement underscores the collaborative efforts among regional leaders to strengthen the opposition front.

The timing of Banerjee’s potential visit to Punjab coincides with ongoing farmer protests in the region, where demands for minimum support prices for agricultural produce have been fervently voiced.
