New Delhi, March 11: The Central Government of India is poised to unveil the rules for implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) today, March 11.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirmed that the CAA would be notified before the Lok Sabha elections, clarifying that it does not revoke anyone’s citizenship.

“Our Muslim brothers are being misinformed about the CAA. It aims to grant citizenship to those persecuted in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh,” Shah stated, emphasizing that the CAA fulfills a promise made by the Congress government.
The code of conduct might come into effect in March, with the regulations prepared and an online portal established for the digital process.
