Guwahati, March 07: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, particularly in the Northeast region.

According to Sarma, the NDA is poised to secure a significant victory, claiming as many as 22 out of the 25 seats from the Northeast.

Sarma’s optimism extends even further, suggesting that the NDA’s tally might potentially rise to 23 seats. He conveyed his firm belief in these projections during an interaction with the media on March 7th.

Speaking assertively, Sarma stated, “NDA is going to win 22 out of 25 seats from Northeast. This is final. It can also become 23.”
