Dimapur shopping

Dimapur, Aug 19: Dimapur, known for its vibrant culture and bustling markets, welcomed a new addition to its shopping landscape. Save Store-Factory Direct, located at Tajen Ao Road, Duncan Dimapur, opened its doors to the public. The inauguration ceremony was graced by dignitaries who emphasized the significance of employment diversity, ethical business practices, and community support in this thriving commercial hub.

Commissioner of Police, Kevitutho Sophie, took the stage during the inauguration and addressed the crowd. He highlighted the importance of embracing various forms of employment, emphasizing that a “white-collar job” should not be the sole definition of employment. Instead, he urged everyone to recognize that employment encompasses working in private enterprises and other sectors.

Expressing concern over the menace of extortion, Commissioner Kevitutho underscored the need for the state to eradicate this social evil. Extortion has long plagued the region, affecting businesses and individuals alike. The commissioner also raised a critical point about the misuse of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, which has, in some instances, become a tool for blackmail in Nagaland.

He called upon citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by providing timely information to combat these issues effectively. Community participation and vigilance play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.

Mongkum Jamir, the President of the Business Association of Nagaland (BAN), emphasized that Nagaland is one of the most business-friendly states in the country. He noted that approximately 95% of the population comes from outside the state to conduct business comfortably. While Nagaland welcomes entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, Mr. Jamir stressed the importance of ethical business practices.

He encouraged fledgling businesses to learn from established enterprises and prioritize the delivery of high-quality products and services at competitive prices. Building trust with customers and adhering to ethical standards are essential for long-term success.

Perong Jamir, the proprietor of Save Store-Factory Direct, shared the journey behind the establishment of this new shopping destination. It took nearly two decades of research and planning to bring the store to life. Mr. Jamir acknowledged that market rates in the state were comparatively high, motivating him to create a store that offers good quality products at reasonable prices.

Save Store aims to provide a diverse shopping experience with over five thousand items, including women’s and men’s clothing, groceries, stationery, footwear, home appliances, and more. Mr. Jamir’s vision extends beyond a single location; he envisions expanding to cover every nook and corner of the state, making quality products accessible to all.

The inauguration of Save Store-Factory Direct in Dimapur represents not only a new shopping destination but also a commitment to ethical business practices and community support. The words of Commissioner Kevitutho Sophie, President Mongkum Jamir, and Proprietor Perong Jamir echo the values of diversity in employment, eradication of social evils, and the promotion of ethical business standards.

As Dimapur continues to thrive as a commercial hub, businesses like Save Store play a vital role in providing quality products at competitive prices. With a wide range of offerings and a vision for expansion, Save Store is poised to become a cherished shopping destination for residents and visitors alike.
