Itanagar, Feb 13: For the first time, Mishmi Hills Trekkers completed the first trek to this offbeat yet beautiful destination called Zawru Valley. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the stunning video of the valley on Twitter and also extended his wishes to Mishmi Hills Trekkers.

While sharing the video he wrote, “My compliments to Mishmi Hills Trekkers on completing the first trek to this offbeat yet beautiful destination called Zawru Valley. #AmazingArunachal has much to offer, just pack your bag to get thrilled by the adventure of enchanting hills. We are waiting to welcome you.”

The Zawru valley region is also known as the Savanna of East, where you will be encountered dozens of the Mishmi Takin, Mishmi Giant Flying Squirrels, Mishmi Wren Babler, Red Goral, and Tibetan Macaque who are the proud owners of the land. You can also listen to the enchanting songs of both Sclater Monal and Himalayan Monals.

During trekking one can explore the rich vegetation of the alps, such as Mishmi Teeta, Paris Polyphylla, Himalayan Aconite, and Ginseng which are the best medicine you will get in the beautiful forest of Jaru Valley. Lakes and Waterfalls are uncountable meanwhile in the trails.

Zawru valley is quite famous for its exceptional fauna including Mishmi Giant Flying Squirrels, Mishmi Wren Babler, Mishmi Takin, Red Goral, and Tibetan Macaque. The snow-capped mountains, picturesque forests with rows of pine trees, and thundering waterfalls to the hills make Dibang Valley one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh.
