Kolkata, Aug 02: A Woman attacked Partha Chatterjee with a sandal. Partha Chatterjee was taken to the Joka ESI Hospital for a routine medical check-up where a woman has thrown her sandal at him. The anger of the woman standing in the crowd amidst tight security.
The woman said this was my way to show my anger toward Partha Chatterjee.
Shubhra Ghorui said that “I came here to buy medicine. I had thrown my sandal at Partha Chatterjee in anger and now returning home barefoot. I did because he has snatched crores of rupees from the below poverty level people. I am not getting this why he is still traveling in an AC Car rather they should drag him with the help of a rope. Now I am feeling happy that I have attacked him.”

Police are investigating the matter and the details about the woman are not yet revealed.

On the other hand, BJP’s West Bengal unit president Sukanta Majumdar has raised the issue and said that “Bengal does not need thieves but need the people like this protesting woman.”
