Chandigarh, Jan 06: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying its preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, with party leaders engaging in high-profile roadshows across the country.
In the latest display of political fervor, BJP President JP Nadda, along with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, led a roadshow covering a 1.5-kilometer stretch from Tank Chowk to Bellavista Chowk in Haryana.
This roadshow in Haryana marked Nadda’s second visit to the state within three days, underscoring the strategic importance of the region for the party.
The event drew considerable attention, showcasing the BJP’s organizational strength and its efforts to connect with the masses ahead of the upcoming elections.

Earlier in the week, Nadda orchestrated a massive roadshow in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district, where enthusiastic supporters gathered to cheer his motorcade. During his address in Himachal, Nadda criticized the Congress government, asserting that it had failed to fulfill any promises made to the people.
He highlighted the BJP’s electoral successes in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, attributing these victories to the unwavering faith of the people in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJP’s focus on roadshows as a political outreach strategy was also evident in Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to Kerala’s Thrissur. Accompanied by BJP state president K Surendran and actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi, the Prime Minister addressed the crowd during a roadshow, launching sharp criticisms against the INDIA bloc.
In Kerala, Modi accused the INDIA alliance of undermining faith, turning temples and festivals into avenues for exploitation.
He particularly pointed out alleged mismanagement in Sabarimala, claiming that devotees were facing significant inconvenience due to the state government’s incompetence.
The heightened political activities and roadshows by BJP leaders indicate the party’s proactive stance as it readies itself for the upcoming national elections.
However, the Congress is also actively engaging in electoral preparations, as demonstrated by Sachin Pilot’s ‘Hain Taiyyar Hum’ rally in Nagpur in December.
Sachin Pilot expressed confidence in the Congress and the INDIA alliance’s readiness for the 2024 elections, emphasizing the substantial public support received during the Nagpur rally. The political landscape is witnessing dynamic maneuvering by both major parties, setting the stage for a competitive electoral contest in 2024.
