New Delhi, Feb 03: Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers provided an update on Virat Kohli’s well-being, confirming that the Indian cricketer is expecting his second child with wife Anushka Sharma.

AB de Villiers emphasized that family is a priority, and Kohli’s decision to withdraw from the first two Tests against England to spend time with his family is commendable.

Virat Kohli withdrew from the Test series, citing personal reasons, and the BCCI urged fans and media not to speculate on the matter.

AB de Villiers shared details of his text message exchange with Kohli, where the Indian captain expressed the need to be with his family during this time.
