Itanagar, May 17: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently took to Twitter to express his joy and celebrate the remarkable progress made in establishing a robust 4G network infrastructure in the state.

According to his tweet, four new 4G towers were successfully launched in just 17 days in May, further enhancing connectivity across Arunachal Pradesh.

The newly launched 4G towers are located in Tego-Gamlin in Yomcha Circle of West Siang District, remote Taliha in Upper Subansiri District, Supliang village in Anjaw District, and Kibithoo, known as the first village of India. These additions to the 4G network signify the state government’s commitment to ensuring comprehensive connectivity and bridging the digital divide.

This recent accomplishment follows another significant milestone achieved in April 2023 when a total of 254 4G mobile towers were dedicated to the state, covering a wide range of 336 villages. This expansion of the 4G network has brought high-speed internet services to previously underserved areas, empowering the residents and providing them with access to numerous opportunities.

The commendable progress made in establishing connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh is a testament to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
