Guwahati, July 31: In a shocking revelation, farmers in Shalbari village No. 2, near the Indo-Bhutan border in Chirang district, unearthed advanced weaponry while working in their fields.

Among the finds were an AK-56 rifle and three magazines, all wrapped in plastic.

The discovery caused significant alarm and confusion among villagers.

The farmers immediately reported the find to the Runikhata police station. Authorities quickly arrived, recovered the rusted firearms, and transported them to the station for further investigation.
