Ayodhya, Jan 22: As the much-anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya approaches, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended a warm welcome to saints and religious leaders who gathered in the holy city for the auspicious event.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Chief Minister Yogi expressed his gratitude, stating, “Hearty welcome and greetings to the revered saints and religious leaders coming from all over the country and the world for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in the Prabhu Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple located in Shri Ayodhya Dham. Your dignified presence in Shri Ayodhya Dham will further strengthen our commitment towards ‘Ramrajya.'”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey shared a symbolic gesture, showcasing a blanket adorned with Lord Ram’s coat crafted by Kashmiri weavers. Praising Prime Minister Modi for bringing an end to centuries of sacrifice and penance, Dubey emphasized the significance of supporting local artisans.

“Honorable Prime Minister Modi ji brought an end to the 550 years of sacrifice and penance of our ancestors. Today on this occasion, all day long, with Ram Darbar chadar, specially made by the weavers of Kashmir. Vocal for local,” he shared.

The historic ‘Pran Pratistha’ ritual of Ram Lalla is set to take place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and distinguished guests.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced a spectacular musical event titled ‘Mangal Dhwani’ to mark the ceremony, featuring renowned names from the world of music, scheduled for 10 am.

The main ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Temple is slated for 12:30 pm.

Ayodhya has been adorned with posters and flags of Lord Ram, creating an atmosphere of festivity.

Cities nationwide are also illuminated with lights, massive cutouts of Lord Ram, and religious slogans honoring the revered deity.

In preparation for the monumental event, the Central Government declared a half-day closure for all its offices on January 22.

Several states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, have declared a holiday in celebration of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena approved the closure of government offices and educational institutions until 2:30 PM on January 22.

Ensuring the safety of the mega temple event, the Uttar Pradesh government has implemented stringent security measures, deploying over 13,000 security personnel in and around Ayodhya.

A dial 112 monitoring centre at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk further enhances the security apparatus, providing comprehensive vigilance for the auspicious occasion.
