Kolkata, May 10: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma exudes confidence, predicting a significant BJP victory in the Northeast’s upcoming elections.

Sarma anticipates the BJP securing 22 out of 25 parliamentary seats, emphasizing Assam’s potential with a projected 12 to 13 wins.

Addressing Mamata Banerjee’s concerns over the National Register of Citizens (NRC), Sarma dismisses any NRC proposal, questioning Banerjee’s resistance to a CBI investigation into the Sandeshkhali case.
