New Delhi, June 17: Muslim devotees gathered in large numbers to offer namaz at mosques nationwide on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha.

In Delhi, worshippers thronged Jama Masjid for the morning prayers.

BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi offered Namaz at Dargah Panja Sharif.

Addressing the media, Naqvi remarked, “Our country is unique in the world, where people of every faith and religion coexist and every festival is celebrated. We celebrate each other’s festivals, embodying unity in diversity, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”

On the topic of the alleged EVM tampering controversy, Naqvi commented, “We shouldn’t make EVM either gods or demons. EVMs have undergone numerous ‘agniparikshas’ and have proven successful. Previously, they were attacked nationally, and now some ‘international contract killers’ are targeting them.”

In Madurai, Tamil Nadu, large crowds gathered to offer morning prayers. Similarly, people convened at Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium in Trivandrum to mark the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations.
