Nadipar NSCN

Itanagar, May 23: In a significant operation, security forces successfully apprehended a self-styled town commander of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-R) from the Nadipar area in Arunachal Pradesh. The arrest took place on May 21 following a joint operation conducted by the Changlang district police and the 149 Bn CRPF.

The arrested individual has been identified as Khilpong Jugli, a 47-year-old resident of Old Shallang village in Changlang district. He is known to be associated with the NSCN-R militant outfit for an extended period and is wanted in multiple criminal cases.

The operation was carried out as part of efforts to combat insurgency and maintain law and order in the region. Security forces had received information about the presence of the NSCN-R operative in Nadipar, prompting the joint team to conduct a thorough search operation in the area.
