Guwahati, April 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign in Nalbari, Assam for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 17. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that they have concluded that out of 14 seats BJP will have victory in 13 seats.

Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that BJP will win by a margin of 4 lakh votes, in Dibrugarh.

Nalbari, nestled in the heart of Assam, holds immense strategic importance in the state’s political landscape. With its significant representation in the Lok Sabha, the region has emerged as a focal point for political mobilization.

PM Modi will address a huge rally at Government Gurdon School Playground, Nalbari to campaign for AGP candidate Phani Bhushan Choudhury from the Barpeta constituency.

Mocking the visit of PM Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi said, they will be happy if he visits because their votes will increase, they also said that if they require any help he is there.

Speaking to reporters in Tengakhat, Sarma challenged the candidacy of Gandhi against Modi’s popularity.

He said even if he asks a school student who they want as the country’s prime minister, they will say they want Narendra Modi.

Sarma’s remarks come amidst a political landscape in Assam Where there has been a steady flow of defections across different political parties, basically from Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
