New Delhi, June 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi resumed his monthly radio broadcast Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, expressing gratitude to voters for re-electing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.

He thanked the nation for reaffirming their trust in the Constitution and democratic processes during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, which he described as the largest democratic exercise globally with 650 million voters.

After a hiatus due to the electoral process, PM Modi highlighted the significance of Mann Ki Baat in fostering national spirit and community engagement, acknowledging its continuity through various societal contributions.

He emphasized the upcoming Paris Olympics, urging support for Indian athletes with the ‘cheer4Bharat’ hashtag.

Additionally, PM Modi touched upon International Yoga Day celebrations, the global success of Indian cinema, achievements in afforestation, and other national accomplishments.

Launched in October 2014, Mann Ki Baat enables PM Modi to directly engage with the nation on government initiatives, national issues, and inspirational messages.

The program broadcasts in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 foreign languages, reaching a broad audience through over 500 All-India Radio broadcast centers.
