Imphal, Jan 04: Rahul Gandhi is gearing up to launch the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Manipur on January 14, 2024, covering an extensive 6700 km across 110 districts.
This journey holds particular significance for Assam, as it marks the second-highest stretch of the yatra, covering 883 km over eight days and reaching 17 districts—the second-highest engagement after Uttar Pradesh.
As the Congress leader immerses himself in the diverse cultures and communities of Assam, the state becomes a crucial battleground for conveying his message of change, justice, and unity.
The yatra, commencing in Manipur and traversing Nagaland before entering Assam, is part of a larger mission symbolizing unity and transformation for a better India.
Jairam Ramesh, another prominent Congress leader, took to X to announce the yatra’s details. Set to begin on January 14, 2024, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi seeks to cover various states and districts, mirroring the impactful Bharat Jodo Yatra undertaken previously.
