Promoting Sustainable Tourism

This year’s United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) theme, ‘Tourism and Green Investment,’ served as the inspiration for the event. To align with the theme, a specially designed cake, featuring a hint of green, symbolized the importance of greening to advance world tourism. Anil Punjabi emphasized the critical role of sustainable practices in shaping the future of tourism. “Greening can save the world,” he remarked, highlighting the necessity of environmentally conscious initiatives.

Anil Punjabi emphasized, “In line with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) theme for this year, which revolves around ‘Tourism and Green Investment,’ we have incorporated a green element into our cake. This symbolizes the pivotal role of greening initiatives in preserving our planet and propelling the global tourism industry forward.”
