Tawang, Feb 23: An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang on Wednesday. The earthquake occurred at 2:25 am, the National Center for Seismology said.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.1, Occurred on 23-02-2023, 02:25:57 IST, Lat: 27.62 & Long: 92.25, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 37km E of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh,” the NCS tweeted.

There was no immediate report of any loss of life or damage to property, an official bulletin said.

Earlier this week, An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale struck Manipur’s Bishnupur on Monday. The earthquake occurred at 5:49 pm, the National Center for Seismology said.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.6, Occurred on 20-02-2023, 17:49:12 IST, Lat: 24.83 & Long: 93.35, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 47km WNW of Bishnupur, Manipur,” the NCS tweeted.
